With a little bit of determination, you can make a big difference. No matter how big or how small – your fundraising idea can make a difference.
By fundraising for us, you can help move the world to protect animals; from bears and elephants to stray dogs and working horses.
Check out our ‘Fundraising Guide’ for easy ideas that can involve just you - from running a half marathon to baking cakes and selling them; to ideas that involve a small team, like a fundraising dinner party or a ‘dress up like an animal day’ for work or school!
Anyone can fundraise and no matter how small the idea, it can lead to raising big funds and spreading the word that animals do matter.
Once you’ve made contact with us and we approve your idea, you will receive an official Authorisation Letter that you can share with other to let them know that you are officially raising funds for us.

We have partnered with www.justgiving.com to provide a simple way for your family, friends and colleagues to support your fundraising efforts and to pay funds directly into our bank account.
But, if you are the kind of person that prefers to keep things on paper and likes to sell home-baking, arts and crafts, or car-wash etc. for direct cash donations, then we can help you here too. Contact us for more information.

- Once you have your fundraising idea, contact us on 0800 500 9772 or 09 309 3901 for your fundraising materials and your official Authorisation Letter.
- Start to raise funds by either:
- visiting www.justgiving.com
- collecting cash donations and sending us a cheque made out to World Animal Protection and post to: World Animal Protection, Private Bag 93220, Parnell, Auckland 1151 or and donating online at: www.worldanimalprotection.org.nz.
