Hike and help elephants adventure in Thailand


Do you want to hike through mountains of northern Thailand and help elephants?

Thanks to people like you, 14 elephant-friendly venues across Asia were provided with food and vet care during the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, up to 16 lucky people  have the incredible opportunity to visit some of the elephants you’ve helped in Thailand on the adventure of a lifetime.

Not only will you get the chance to meet elephant like Maruya and Gorgae, you’ll be amazed by the breathtaking views of Doi Inthanon National Park and become immersed in the Karen hill tribe culture.  

All while raising vital funds to help give wild animals lives worth living.

The World Animal Protection Elephant Hike & Homestay begins and ends in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 5 December to 12 December 2022.

The elephant adventure is nothing short of incredible! You’ll:

  • Observe elephants navigating the lush forest at two elephant-friendly venues;
  • Enjoy three days trekking in the Doi Inthanon National Park;
  • Climb Thailand’s highest mountain peak;
  • Delight in delicious authentic Thai culture with local families as hosts;
  • Learn about Karen hill tribe culture with local community members;
  • Raise vital funds to protect elephant and other wild animals.
