The waters of Indonesia are home to six out of seven of the world’s sea turtle species. All species of sea turtles are currently listed as endangered by the UN. There’s no doubt turtles need our help. Sadly, some of the venues observed in Indonesia are far from the 'sanctuaries' they claim to be.

Earlier this year, the vast and desolate Eastern Steppe of Mongolia experienced a natural disaster known as a “Black Dzud”; bringing with it extremely low temperatures and high winds for weeks on end. A dzud of this type occurs when a harsh winter follows a very dry summer.

Finally, on 23 April 2018, after years of campaigning, our partner group Asociatia Milioane de Prieteni (AMP) have brought Anca, to Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zarnesti. Now she’ll be reunited with her sister Ina and live a natural life surrounded by trees, grass, and pools.
